Job Description

Our Collins Learning Marketing team are looking for a Schools Marketing Intern to work on and support innovative campaigns for a leading brand in educational publishing. The Intern will provide campaign and administrative support to help the marketing team deliver measurable campaigns in line with the divisional strategy. They will also have the opportunity to feed ideas into, create content for and manage some of the marketing campaigns within the division. This is a six month fixed term contract.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the delivery of creative media and digital plans so that all activities are on time and within budget.

  • Provide general administrative support for the department including social media scheduling and monitoring, raising POs and updating financial records where appropriate and maintaining campaign and reporting records.

  • Supporting the team with managing events including organising stock and marketing pieces and arranging transportation to and from events

  • Work closely with other members of the marketing team to manage elements of monthly campaigns where relevant.

  • Proof-read and check marketing collateral to ensure it’s error free.

  • Support a culture of collaboration, working closely with the wider marketing communications team to ensure that the comms output is on brand and joined up.

Key Skills/Experience

  • A passion for publishing and marketing

  • Any publishing or marketing experience would be a bonus, whether that’s work experience, experience as a bookseller or as part of a publishing society

  • Enthusiasm! We want someone who wants to grab this opportunity with both hands and is keen to work in the publishing industry

  • Knowledge of Photoshop and experience with Canva would be a benefit but not essential.
