Role: Consultant/Senior Consultant - Sustainable Packaging

Location: Remote role, based across the U.S./Canada. Our North America business is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, with further office locations in San Francisco Bay Area, California and Boston, Massachusetts.

Practice Area: Sustainable Products, Packaging, & Circular Business, Anthesis North America.

Contract: Permanent

Remuneration Range: Consultant: $60k-$80k // Senior Consultant: $80k-$100k

About the Role

We are seeking a sustainable packaging consultant or senior consultant. They will join our team of consultants and analysts specializing in sustainable products and circularity.

Key Responsibilities

· Assisting clients with developing and pursuing sustainable packaging goals and improvements.

· Performing quantitative modelling to help determine clients’ amount of packaging used and quantify the packaging’s sustainability characteristics (e.g., % recycled)

· Identifying data gaps and inaccuracies, and developing well-reasoned approaches and assumptions to fill gaps

· Conducting landscape reviews, including researching competitors’ sustainability goals and strategies, sustainable packaging regulations, etc.

· Creating PowerPoint presentations to share findings from quantitative analysis, landscape reviews, or other activities

· Delivering business value to our clients

· Project and/or client management

· Build expertise in the team through mentoring and training

Key Requirements

· 3+ years’ professional experience required for Consultant level; 5+ years’ experience required for Senior Consultant level (packaging engineering, materials science, and/or consulting experience preferred but not required)

· Excellent analytical skills, including advanced competency in Microsoft Excel (additional experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI preferred but not required)

· Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

· High level of organization and attention to detail

· Project management skills: ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and to client expectations

· Effective time management, with the ability to stick to deadlines and prioritize tasks

· Demonstrable client management and business development skills

· Work well with a wide range of people on a global basis
