A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Regional Operations Support Manager to join the Volunteer Operations directorate.

About the role

The post of Regional Operations Support Manager supports the delivery of operations by SSAFA’s volunteer network of branches and Service Committees across the East Midlands and east of England. The post holder will work closely with the two volunteer Regional Chairs to implement the proposals of the SSAFA@140 programme, so that consistent, timely and quality support is provided to beneficiaries.

About the team

The post-holder will join eight other Regional Operations Support Managers in the Volunteer Network Operations department which is part of SSAFA’s Volunteer Operations directorate.

About you

To carry out this role successfully you will have in depth understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families. Experienced in delivering support services, you will be committed to upholding SSAFA’s values and have a passion for the delivery of high-quality support to beneficiaries. You will be readily able to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, volunteers and other stakeholders, and lead and motivate your team.
