Summary of role

Anthesis’ Strategy, Brand and ESG team operates predominantly in the private sector, focusing on:

·       The interface between brand, purpose and sustainability

·       Understanding material risks and opportunities relevant to our clients’ activities

·       Defining sustainability targets and ambitions and associated metrics

·       Developing and translating sustainability strategies into creative concepts that can be used across communication channels

·       Engaging a diverse range of stakeholders and encouraging them to take bolder actions to have more impact

·       Supporting sustainability communications planning and activation, including sustainability reporting

·       Working closely with other Anthesis teams on the implementation of sustainability strategies

To sustain the growth in activity in our service area from domestic and global clients, we are keen to provide additional support to the team to expand to meet our clients’ needs in this exciting area of purpose and brand development.

The role is based in one of Anthesis’ Bristol, London or Oxford offices, but the dynamic nature of our work may necessitate you to work from other Anthesis and/or clients’ offices from time-to-time. Additionally, given the international nature of the Anthesis business and the needs of our clients, this may lead to participation in overseas work. Key Responsibilities

Your tasks as a (Senior) Consultant within the team will be varied and include:

·       Using outputs from ESG materiality and strategy development to inform KPI identification, definition and collection methodology processes across a range of sustainability topics

·       Collecting, analysing and reporting on GHG inventories for corporate clients, covering Scope 1 and 2 (and Input Output analyses on Scope 3)

·       Identifying and developing creative analytical solutions to address unique sustainability challenges

·       Engaging with, and presenting to a wide a range of stakeholders

You will be expected to participate in client projects and proposals and to deliver tasks on time and within budget.

Requirements

·       Previous background and/or passion for sustainability;

·       Experience of completing Scope 1 and 2 GHG footprints for corporate clients (ideally some experience of Input Output Scope calculation)

·       Curious, pragmatic and enthusiastic

·       Organised, methodical and analytical

·       Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment

·       Work well with a wide range of people in a global environment

·       Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative
