About the role

Working alongside the other eLearning Manager this role is jointly responsible to the Head of Education Innovation for the day-to-day management of the eLearning team and the College’s new learning platform, RCOG Learning.  In collaboration with subject matter experts they will focus on developing new high-quality online learning resources and on quality assuring existing content to ensure that it is regularly reviewed, updated and evaluated. Along with line managing the eLearning Assistant Editor, they will play a key role in ensuring that the College’s product offerings on the new LMS continue to expand and that available functionality on the platform is fully utilised. 

This includes:

  • Managing the quality assurance process for existing e-Learning resources

  • Ensure the eLearning platform runs well, identifying issues and opportunities for development

  • Support Head of Education Innovation to develop a new range of products and services for the RCOG Learning platform

  • Manage the marketing and branding of eLearning products in accordance with the RCOG branding guidelines

 

About you

As the ideal candidate you will:

  • Have experience in a scientific or medical publishing environment

  • Have successfully managed projects from start to finish, preferably in an online publishing environment

  • Be great at problem solving by utilising your creativity, the ability to think laterally, and remaining calm under pressure

  • Be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
