Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator to join our friendly and very busy team, based at our fantastic Head Office in Wembley.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager and working as part of a 7 person team, you will process around 70 orders per week, each varying in detail, quantity and complexity. Order amounts typically range from £3k to £20k, across 2 – 25 lines, so experience dealing with similar volumes is preferred. Typical orders are for plasterboard and metal as well as associated products including, insulations, fixings, PPE, screed and sand. Despite working with a well-established supplier base where rates are largely set, you may occasionally be required to negotiate with suppliers.

About You:

To successfully manage the high volume of material requisitions, you will have an exceptional attention to detail, an organised approach to workflow, processes and data entry and adopt a sense of urgency at all times. Liaising with site staff and suppliers alike, you will be positive, friendly and approachable and enjoy acting as the crucial link between our sites and suppliers.
