About Bethnal Green Ventures

Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV) is Europe’s leading early-stage tech for good VC. We back ambitious founders using technology to tackle big social and environmental problems that aim to radically improve millions of lives. BGV has unrivalled experience and track record investing in and scaling tech for good businesses, generating top-tier returns for investors, as well as significant and measurable impact. BGV is one of the five most active venture capital firms in the UK and has been a B Corp since 2015.

The core BGV team is a small, dynamic bunch of eleven people and we operate as an autonomous part of the impact-focused Connected Asset Management group.  Our wider community includes our investment committee, Venture Partners, 70+ live startups in our portfolio, and over 50 expert mentors in our network.

The BGV team works in central London and helps run the London Tech for Good meetup with around 10,000 members. BGV gives you the benefits of being in a small team whilst being part of a bigger movement.

  • Monitoring BGV team happiness and wellbeing and organising team events to facilitate a productive and inclusive work culture.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be 16-24 years old and on Universal Credit to qualify for the Kickstart Scheme.

  • Have an affinity with BGV’s mission and values and is excited about the opportunity to work in a tech for good investment fund.

  • Be analytical and organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Work well with people, with a ‘can do’ approach to helping out the wider BGV team where necessary.

Rewards and benefits

  • An amazing experience working alongside startups solving important social and environmental problems.
