Your answer

I dont have any experience in managing broadcast operations but I would love to know more about it.

Question 2

Can you give an example of where you fostered a close working relationship with broadcasters and how you grew that relationship?

Your answer

My first volunterring experience here in the UK for Loughborough Lightning in the Netball Superleague. I had to make sure about the lights and music. As there were some matches which were broadcasted by SKY Sports. I had to communicate with their employees on when to play music. Even though it was a very decent and an easy job. I spoke to some of the broadcasting team of SKY.

Question 3

Can you show an example of where you have had to deal with a particularly challenging situation and what skills you demonstrated to resolve this?

Your answer

I have done 3-4 internships in India before pursuing my masters in the UK. There have been various challenges not only while interning but in general life too. I am that type of a person who loves to work under a fast paced environment. In my last internship one of the equipment was not delivered on time and we had to cancel that part of the event as we did not have the equipment. Even though in the end we were unable to get the equipment but I tried my best to get it delivered and because of this event I learnt how to negotiate and be fully responsible for this with my head. Negotiation is something which is not a direct skill like communication or responsibility. But the industry we are in, its very important in my opinion. Other than this i have never experienced personally a very challeneging sitiuation. But yes, I look forward for more as I would love to be that person to solve it.

Question 4

Success in this role will be delivering outstanding results and impact in the area of operations and planning. Please share with us your best example of when you have done this in a team. What was the project/event? What was your role in the team? What was the outcome?

Your answer

I was the head intern for Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy in India. I had to make sure that the interns working under me have no problem and we as a team deliver the best result possible, and we were also awarded the best teamwork as the event was successful. Our role and specifically my role was to make sure that the event as a whole is a success. We had to make sure it starts on time, tick the checklist everyday, DY PATIL (MUMBAI, an international cricket ground) is set up, coordinate with the stock holding team during and before the event starts everyday. Made sure the kids coming in have eveything ready from their kits to equipments. In constant contact with my head which helped me communicate properly as well and learnt how an event goes by.
