Role outline        

The Events Engagement Coordinator will provide professional, timely and effective fundraising, administrative and event management assist to the Events Engagement team, and provide supporter stewardship in order to maximise income generation and retention of new supporters.

Dimensions

·       Co-ordinate the planning, development and implementation of events and community fundraising to ensure the Trussell Trust develops a sustainable calendar of activity that maximising unrestricted income

·       Reporting to the Events Engagement Manager, assist to achieve income targets through project managing campaigns, monitoring income and expenditure budgets, and evaluating all complete events

·       Participate in the development of the wider Events and Community fundraising activity, which will include taking accountability for projects from time to time

·       Managing effective systems for managing data for the events portfolio ensuring that supporter engagement is maximised and that resources are available

·       Liaise appropriately with those raising funds, for both internal and external events, before, during and after events and for initial enquiries

·       Proactively use all channels of communication for our supporters, including post, email, social media and phone, working with the Communications team to gain approval for advertisements, copy etc.

·       Assist with all aspects of running events to maximise income generating opportunities. This will include the development of supporter stewardship communications; marketing plans; assisting participants; manage participant registrations and enquiries and managing participant information

·       Attend events where necessary and assist Events Engagement Manager with managing logistics

·       Work with agencies and key stakeholders on any queries or to escalate any issues

·       Manage supporter contact information using our CRM system, ensuring information is up-to-date, essential data is captured and recorded and database use meets organisational guidelines and GDPR regulations.

·       Develop a culture of innovation, resourcefulness and best practice to make the best use of time and skills in the team

·       Keep up to date with new developments, legal requirements, codes of conduct and best practice within both events and the wider fundraising sector

·  Any other reasonable duties as specified by your line manager or members of the executive team to support the work of the Trust.
