Job Description

PURPOSE OF JOB:

This role is responsible for the delivery of high value activity in support of the fundraising strategy for community and schools audiences, supporting the Senior Fundraising Manager. This will be in the course of Red Nose Day, Sport Relief, and other year-round fundraising activity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver against the communities and schools fundraising strategy, working across the organisation to deliver materials, products, digital fundraising activations and propositions that will inspire fundraising in these audiences

  • Work with the Senior Fundraising Managers to deliver impactful multi-channel acquisition, conversion and retention supporter journeys

  • Prospect and pitch to new high value fundraising partners and accounts, and provide high-quality relationship management to existing high value fundraisers

  • Work with the Corporate Partnerships team to maximise employee fundraising and engagement from corporate partners

  • Oversee the collection and sharing of inspiring fundraising stories from supporters, working with the Fundraising Associates

  • Work with the Supporter Care Supervisor to ensure all fundraiser enquiries and complaints are managed effectively and within the agreed timeframes

  • Brief and manage creative resource for creation of fundraising tools and materials

  • Monitor and report on activity such as registrations, conversion and income, working closely with data and audience teams to identify trends and insight, and to proactively suggest new forms of engagement

  • Recruit and line manage campaign support staff as needed

Skills and Competencies:

  • Essential: Experience of providing high-quality fundraiser relationship management

  •  Essential: Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

  • Essential: Strong project management experience with proven organisational and time-management skills

  • Essential: Experience of delivering fundraising strategies and propositions that engage fundraisers and drive support

  • Essential: A proactive and positive individual with a “can do” attitude

Desirable:

  • Experience of presenting and pitching to new prospects

  • Experience delivering digital fundraising activations
