Communications Manager

Frontline is continuing to grow and expand its impact. As we embark on this new stage in the organisation’s development we are looking to recruit an exceptional and experienced communicator to work closely with the Chief Executive and senior team. You will be responsible for devising and implementing strategies to build our reputation and cement the brand as a leading social work charity. Reporting to the External Relations Director, this role manages the Communications Officer and Communications Coordinator, but with the capacity to shape and grow the team over time. This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team as we look to build awareness and increase the profile of our work.

The Candidate

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team whose work has a direct impact on the perception and capability of Frontline to bring about change. This role has a high level of autonomy, creativity and the potential for significant growth. It will provide the right candidate with exposure to stimulating and high-profile work with some of the leading figures in the field. You will be tasked with designing, writing and executing a wide-range of communications and expected to confidently make the case for Frontline through your work.

The External Relations Directorate are responsible for the message and reputation of Frontline, and inspiring support for the charity. The Communications team leads on press, public affairs, online content, and branding.The Development team lead on fundraising and events. A committed and growing team, we work creatively with internal and external support to bring the Frontline message to life. We have a friendly approach and take pride in building first-class partnerships.
