Job Description
The Senior HRBP will lead the development and execution of forward looking people plan and the implementation of change aligned to the HR strategy and organisational objectives. To adopt a customer centric approach with directorate leaders, building a solid understanding of the business strategy and developing effective people solutions that help achieve business objectives while enabling employees to build their capabilities. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders developing a thorough knowledge of their business areas and priorities, in order to coach business leaders to build their leadership capability and to challenge directorate thinking, influencing decisions which support the achievement of Comic Relief’s corporate objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Lead in the review and development of Comic Relief’s people policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
Co-create and drive directorate level people plans which consider internal/external, current/future influences and supports the achievement of workforce planning, talent management / succession planning, performance/reward management and learning and development.
Considers the diversity and inclusion aspirations of Comic Relief and other corporate responsibilities and ensure embedded in people practices.
Production of monthly management information; conduct analysis and create insights to support the organisation in implementing strategies to address themes which support business needs.
Management of employee relations cases – acting as escalation point for HRBP seeking advice on their own complex cases.
Lead on development and implementation of the learning and development strategy for Comic Relief
Essential Education and Competencies:
MCIPD qualified or a qualification or experience in human resources management
Skilled and adaptable communicator, able to flex style between coach, advisor, manager and challenger
Collaborative worker, able to work closely with leadership teams
Effective relationship builder with strong stakeholder management skills
Influential with the gravitas to effectively help shape the organisation
Outstanding solid HRBP skills-ability to engage, motivate and deliver organisational change
