In the last twenty-five years, CACTX has become the national leader in providing best-practice, evidence-based services to children impacted by abuse, serving nearly 1 million children statewide, through a statewide network of children’s advocacy centers. About the Strategy Development Specialist Role 

As a collaborative member of the Strategy Development and Evaluation Team, the Strategy Development Specialist is responsible for supporting research, programmatic, and stakeholder engagement efforts in furtherance of the organization’s vision of eradicating child sexual abuse in Texas. To achieve this outcome, the Specialist will provide project and programmatic support to various initiatives within the department and will schedule, plan, and support meetings and other forums for dialogue and collaboration among

Expectations: 

  • Collaborate with and assist other members of the Strategy Development and Evaluation team in identifying and developing high-impact strategies to eradicate child sexual abuse in Texas.  

  • Support complex projects, including, but not limited to, research projects, pilot programs, and contracts with vendors and consultants.   

  • Create and maintain written content and visual materials for the Strategy Development and Evaluation team, including summaries, spreadsheets, reports, charts, graphs, and other materials.    

  • Develop and maintain authentic working relationships with members of the Statewide Multidisciplinary Task Force and associated working groups to cultivate stakeholder engagement and create buy-in. Provide administrative, facilitation, and programmatic support to the Task Force and working groups.
