The ideal candidate for this role is a sales executive that has successfully managed six-figure deal cycles involving C-suite professionals, including some IT stakeholders. We are looking for a track record of consistent success with 3+ years of quota-carrying experience in high ACV SaaS sales or distribution sales. We want you to feel comfortable and motivated in a high-growth startup environment, as you'll be a foundational member of our expanding sales team. Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain a robust sales pipeline, fostering mostly inbound, sales qualified leads through the deal cycle from discovery to close.
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Proton as a modern, CRM-like data platform built specifically for distributors.
Leverage your unique presentation skills to give evidence-based business proposals.
Expect moderate travel in a post-COVID world.
Required: 3+ quota-carrying years of enterprise technology-related or distribution-related B2B sales.
Experience educating broad audiences (connecting stakeholders from various parts of the buying organization) about modern and complex concepts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills - our sales cycle is accelerated when managed by a consultative, organized, and persistent sales rep.
At a minimum, curiosity and interest in getting to know B2B distribution. Empathy for our customers drives serious credibility in our industry.
Experience in a startup environment where you have a high degree of autonomy.
Demand generation skills - there's no upper limit to your compensation at Proton, so you're encouraged to network and develop relationships in our industry.
Success selling CRM-like or data-driven software platforms to large businesses.
