Job Description

About WorkClub

WorkClub enables people to work and meet throughout a distributed network of underutilised spaces. Our curated network of partners including pubs, hotels, restaurants, coworking, and serviced offices are connected with us through a shared mission to enable the remote workforce to work where they work best.

Our mobile-first solution is built for anyone from remote professionals looking for options to work near home to teams of any size looking to downsize their office footprint in a remote-first world.

Diversity underpins our success here at WorkClub. We are a team of skilled specialists with sector experience across real estate, technology, and hospitality. Our strength comes from bringing together our unique insights to create a shared vision of the future of work.

About you and the role

As Head of Business Development, you'll build our growing business development team, supporting our journey to scale, and connecting us with more and new types of spaces. You’ll own and grow a portfolio of space operators and play a critical role in shaping the future of the business. You'll get stuck into the sales rhythm while also spotting opportunities for improvement and expansion.

This role will ask you to interact with space operators at all stages of the sales process. From initial research and outreach to building relationships and helping onboard new clients.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be involved in on a day-to-day basis:

  • Reaching out to potential new clients in creative and scalable ways.

  • Understanding customer needs and introducing the right solution at the right time.

  • Working with the marketing team to refine scalable growth strategies.

  • Representing our organisation at industry events and using your fabulous networking skills.

  • Working with other teams to feedback customer insights into new services/product features.

  • Using a scientific and data-informed approach to sales to work out what is working and what is not.

Why work for WorkClub?

  • We're an innovative and fast growing start-up

  • Flexible & remote working culture - we've been believers in working where you work best since inception

  • Advisors & mentors with world class backgrounds to assist you at crunch times
