Job Description

This is an exciting and busy time to be joining UK Youth as we prepare to launch our new strategy and  transform the way we work to ensure all young people are equipped to thrive and empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. As a result  we are recruiting for a number of new roles designed to enable the organisation to grow, improve our ways of working and enable us to deliver to deliver our ambitious 2025 strategic plan. 

UK Youth are currently looking for a dynamic and talented Research and Learning Officer to join our Research and Performance team to support with the management and co-ordination of our evaluation and learning activity.

The new Research and Learning Officer will robust and insightful work with colleagues within the Research and Performance team and beyond on robust evaluation and research projects. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Research, this role will support our work in evidencing the impact of our work, understanding the role of the youth sector and communicating progress towards our organisational objectives. This role will work closely with the Research and Learning Managers, as well as Data Manager and Research and Data Officers.

To thrive in this role, you need a background in qualitative and quantitative research methods, and have excellent communication skills. But, we’re interested also interested in your enthusiasm to learn. We’re looking for a researcher with an open mind to supporting the development new processes, methodologies and approaches to lift our current research and evaluation outputs to a place that matches our ambition.
