Job Description

We're looking for an empathetic and organised Customer Experience Guide to join us 

Getting a mortgage is complex, frustrating and slow. At Habito, we’re transforming mortgages: making them faster and simpler for customers.

Our Customer Experience team is a key part of the operations team and at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be supporting customers on live chat, helping them navigate the website, their account and their mortgage application in a way that makes sense to them.

You’ll be part of a diverse team with years of mortgage experience between them. It’s a fast-paced and ever-changing environment – if something’s not working well, we’re not afraid to change it. We’re each a proud part of our longstanding 4.8* Trustpilot rating with over 5,500 reviews.

More about what you’ll do:

  • Answering customer queries using live chat by supporting customers on general guidance around mortgages and the home-buying process – things like what lenders look for, the types of income you can use to buy, the rules around renting out your home, and more.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of our product and services. You’ll need to know them inside out so you can support and guide customers to a 5* star service.

  • Explain things to customers in a clear, simple and jargon-free way. Mortgages can be tricky – we pride ourselves on being informative in language that’s accessible to all.

  • Identify trends in customer queries and work with our engineering, product and  operations colleagues to improve the customer journey from their first click on our website to receiving their mortgage offer.

  • Multitask multiple customers at one time
