Job Description

The position plays a key role in the next phase of evolving the technology stack across our International offices.  We are a small team leading the technology transformation of our International division which include France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Japan, and Brazil. 

This role is key in migrating and analysing company product data from dispersed legacy applications into central standard stack.  This is highly technical role that will take a lead in configuring a key system for international use.  This includes working with the business and directing the vendor (or development team) to implement the requirements.  The person in the role will need to understand and be responsible for data flow to other internal systems as well as assisting to configure export of data to the marketplace.

The individual will have a strong understanding of databases, data models & relationships, and SQL queries, be able to write and run complex queries to collect data, analyze data, perform reconciliations across data in various systems and present the results.

Key tasks and accountabilities

  • Configure and manage core piece of the technology stack ensuring packaged app delivers value to the business.  Manage vendors key deliverables based on business priorities. 

  • Configure system and manage vendor (or developer) deliverables

  • Work with local office to determine/document and action requirements

  • Configure exports and reports from system based on business requirements

  • Understand, document and work with vendor to solve business requirements with a focus on addressing needs across multiple offices and future proofing.

  • Create and maintain a detailed specification documentation.

 

During your first six months you will

  •  Work closely with Director of Technology this role will play a key part in implementing a system for the first time in a new country that will create the model for additional deployment across the EU.

  • Become the central administrator of new title management software.  The focus will be on configuring data exchange among systems.

  • Work with vendor to supply data required to populate corporate websites and automate then automate the continual update of those sites

 

Experience required

  • Worked on both in house and vendor software developers to deliver a business priority application.

  • Strong acumen of software development practices.

  • Practical experience of working on databases, writing and running complex SQL queries to extract data and analyze data to identify business process gaps and system gaps.

  • Configuration/Administration of SAAS based software with demonstrated understanding of key issues that come with SAAS applications.

  • Demonstrated the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines.

  • Demonstrated facilitation, conflict resolution and negotiation skills

  • Candidate must have/be able to obtain a valid passport and be able to travel within Europe and to United States

  • Periodically, travel may be required for longer than one week at a time

 Skills required

  • SAAS software configuration

  • XML (Onix), API technologies

  • SQL, Expert level Excel

  • Experience with Agile vendor/methodology

  • Project tracking (Jira & YouTrack) experience
