Job Description

The Trussell Trust is passionate about putting our audience at the centre of all we do. To this end we have created a new role of Financial Inclusion Data and Insight Manager to help ensure that we help people in crisis to maximise their income. This role is ideal for a candidate with the passion and drive to develop and shape the role data and insight plays in driving and delivering real change for people experiencing poverty across the UK.  The role will report to the Head of Financial Inclusion Programmes and work closely with colleagues across the Financial Inclusion department to provide specialist data and insight analysis on demand, investment and performance on national and local services and partnerships.  The post will provide clear and actionable insights to drive informed decision making to help deliver improved experience and outcomes for people in crisis.  The post will also work closely with key teams across the organisation to support with data insight requirements of Operations, Fundraising and PEAR colleagues.    

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive data and insight relating to performance of national and local financial inclusion provision to support investment, implementation planning, monitoring and evaluation

  • Develop and be responsible for the collation and aggregation of evidence and insight at a national and local level, including reach and impact

  • Develop and maintain reporting processes, appropriate data and insight systems and resources for the financial inclusion programme

  • Lead on all aspects of service and partnership reporting and the production of reports and briefings on the impact of the financial inclusion programme, communicating insight across the charity as appropriate

  • Manage the end to end relationship with research suppliers as required to ensure they are meeting objectives, providing value for money and cost-effective delivery to the charity

  • Liaise with, and support, PEAR, Fundraising and Operations colleagues with data requests to support cross-directorate working within the organisation

  • Analyse and interrogate data to produce various insight reports for the Senior Financial Inclusion team, Director of Operations, Chief Operating Officer and other key stakeholders

  • Present insights from projects to a range of internal stakeholders to ensure insights are effectively shared across the organisation

  • Manage the delivery of insight to Financial Inclusion team & Operations directorate

  • Participate in regular 1:1s and annual reviews, contributing to the identification of objectives and targets, and monitoring of progress towards them

  • Support the development of a culture of innovation, resourcefulness and best practice to make the best use of time and skills in the team

  • Represent the Trussell Trust internally and externally reflecting its values and vision.

  • Promote collaborative and flexible working across the Operations Directorate and the wider Trussell Trust

Any other reasonable duties as specified by the line manager to support the work of the Trust.
