Regional Quality Manager – South East & London

We have an opportunity for a Regional Quality Manager to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Head of Quality and partnering with our Head of Delivery(s), you will be responsible for supporting several civils projects including groundworks, infrastructure through to soft and hardscaping projects across our London and South East region.

Our Regional Quality Manager role is to effectively support, coach and audit assigned Carey site teams. Responsible for driving quality control and assurance, engaging in lessons learnt investigations and auditing project operations whilst further improving quality functions.

This position is regionally based which involves extensive travelling in and around London with travel to our head office in Wembley. 70% project based with 30% focused on creating workshops and reporting.

The Role

  • Providing assistance and guidance for establishing quality processes on sites: working with the project teams to minimise risk and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.

  • Ensure accurate reporting of RAG scores, NCRs and Regional Quality Managers monthly reports for trending of data.

  • Coaching the project team in writing and delivering the Inspection and Test Plans.

  • Support the projects on the lessons learnt workshops and communications.

  • Developing, managing and delivering project audit programmes.

  • Manage and build collaborative relationships with projects, Clients, contractors and suppliers, building efficiencies.

About you

  • Demonstrable experience within a Quality role.

  • Demonstrable civil engineering experience; groundworks, infrastructure, enabling works through to soft and hard landscaping.

  • Qualification in Quality Management and Auditing preferred.

  • Effective communication with internal sites and external suppliers

  • Strong demonstrable relationship building/stakeholder relationship skills.

  • Proven experience of working to deadlines.

  • Experience of coaching and mentoring.
