Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and motivate a high performing department, leveraging internal and external relationships

  • Develop and deliver plans to attract, support and retain product users and deliver against wider organisational objectives

  • Continuously analyse user insights and marketing performance data to inform, improve and optimise our marketing activity

  • Maintain specialist expertise in supporting schools through our products and be the authority across Oak and more widely across the sector

  • Contribute to the strategy, planning and model the culture of the organisation.

  • Be a member of the Oak leadership team

  • Work in cross-functional and product oriented squads with colleagues from across the organisation, as required

  • Deputise for the Director of School Support and External Relations and take on other general responsibilities as required

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • 8+ years senior experience holding responsibility for product and/or brand marketing 

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in a range of marketing disciplines including digital and content marketing and using data to inform planning

  • Experience of recruiting, developing and managing a high performing marketing team

  • Knowledge and experience of the education sector and market

The successful candidate will have a desire to contribute in all areas to ensure Oak is successful. You will be comfortable working at pace and you will continuously look at ways that the team can work more smartly. You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time effectively.
