Distributors play a key role in the world's economy. They support the supply chains that deliver nearly every physical product you come across. But distributors can be more efficient. Distributors are heavy consumers of great content - their executives are actively exploring ways they can modernize their businesses to remain the channel of choice. We have built relationships with a few key associations (MDM, NAW, ISA) and consulting groups, which both serve as consistent sources of MQLs. We are growing fast, and are now looking for a strategic, execution-focused Marketing Manager to help us grow these inbound demand channels and start developing more outbound demand. This leader will be a dynamic addition to our team - managing people and owning projects, with the opportunity to grow into a Head of Marketing role.
What you'll do
Build a "marketing funnel" that educates and guides prospects that aren't ready to buy into Proton's sales funnel. In other words, create MQLs and build a path to convert them to SQLs).
Creatively use and repurpose existing content to support your marketing campaigns.
Build new and strengthen existing channel partnerships (e.g. consulting firms that refer their customers to Proton)
Manage Proton's HubSpot environment, establishing best practices to execute marketing & sales initiatives.
Create email and landing page assets for white papers, case studies, and more.
Build A/B tests and run experiments to drive MQLs and MQL>SQL conversion.
Design creative marketing initiatives (e.g. organizing a webinar and building a campaign around it).
Help develop and refine our sales/marketing collateral (e.g. sharpening our sales decks, improving messaging and positioning on our website).
Manage our third-party media agency and potentially a ghostwriter.
You & Your Experience
Experience working in Marketing and/or Demand Generation for SaaS businesses
A curious self-starter with a data-driven mindset (we are an evidence-driven organization!)
Understanding of sales and marketing processes and best practices, including lead gen, lead nurture, and account-based marketing
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
