Job Description

The Digital Recruitment Officer engages and attracts new supporters to the Trussell Trust through compelling paid digital activity across paid social media, PPC search, video and display advertising. This role sits within a team of direct marketing experts and works collaboratively with colleagues across Public Engagement to create integrated and powerful digital marketing.   

Role responsibilities

  • Working with the Supporter Recruitment and Engagement Manager and key stakeholders from across the Public Engagement Directorate, to support the development of a programme of integrated activities to engage and attract new supporters to the Trussell Trust, growing our supporter base and our long-term organisational income.

  • To lead the development and implementation of digital supporter recruitment and engagement across paid social media, search, video and display advertising, working with colleagues across the Public Engagement Directorate and external agencies to deliver integrated campaigns.

  • To support the Supporter Recruitment and Engagement Manager in developing testing, monitoring, delivery and reporting targets.

  • To manage the monitoring and reporting of campaign performance, ensuring tracking and reporting methods are effective, accurate and GDPR compliant. Working with the Data and Insight Manager to utilise data and insight to evaluate performance, reporting on campaigns and provide learnings for future campaigns.

  • To develop and provide expertise on digital marketing and optimisation opportunities to the wider directorate, and to maintain a contemporary and deep knowledge of this field.

  • Work alongside the Brand & Marketing team to plan and constantly revisit current digital assets, creative content, and past campaigns so that we can optimise performance and share learnings across the Public Engagement Directorate.
