We are looking for you to support a wide variety of projects, from tracking deforestation to using space technology in the transport industry and become our Contract Management Associate!

The successful candidate will ensure that contracts are drafted, compliant and placed on time, to allow project schedules and business delivery to be maintained and secure value for money.

Reporting into our Head of Commercial Services, this is a fascinating role that requires an ability to work to challenging deadlines. It requires great organisation, a passion for the legal, procurement and/or commercial sector and ultimately, a motivated person who wants to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support on inbound and outbound contracts across the projects

• As part of the Commercial Services team, maintain a Contract Lifecycle Management schedule for projects from inception through delivery to conclusion.

• Early engagement with business leads and project managers to support them with the development of their collaborative & commercial opportunities by providing clarity of information, contract scrutiny, risk evaluation and compliance advice allowing the Catapult to leverage its position, outputs and impact.

• By supporting Bid and Project Managers, Business Leads, Budget holders & their objectives - delivering best value, compliance & timely contract award.

• The team will facilitate compliant market & supplier engagement within internal control mechanisms & relevant procurement and public contract regulations.

• Providing timely advice and support through the project lifecycle

Skills & Experience required:

• You will have experience working in a busy team, ideally in the legal/contracts/commercial sector

• Your ideal next role will be to develop yourself and bring your legal or administrative experience to support the Catapult

• You will be passionate about getting things right, in supporting businesses in a legally compliant way that still allows for flexibility

• The ideal candidate will be excited to work on multiple projects and will want to learn more about the Space sector.
