Selling as a distributor is complicated. Distributors carry hundreds of thousands of complicated SKUs, making it impossible for distributors to know what their customers need. Proton cuts through this complexity with AI. We provide a solution that modernizes distributors' sales efforts. And in doing so, we help distributors better serve their customers.

The Role:

As our Sourcer (affectionately known as the BDR of hiring) your main focus is sourcing great candidates for priority roles utilizing a variety of channels. You are a gatherer, a seeker and an awareness builder!

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with our employees, including our hiring managers and our talent acquisition team to fully understand role requirements and define what strong candidate profiles look like (gather). You’ll source diverse candidates (seeker) through various channels. And you’ll build awareness of Proton by seeking out opportunities where we can be represented on public “channels” (including sponsorship and partnership opportunities)

Great companies are only as great as the teams they build. You'll be instrumental in attracting and finding talent that's a fit for Proton. It goes without saying, that's a pretty important gig.

You'll be joining a growing Talent Acquisition Team composed of:

Head of Talent Acquisition, Recruiter, and HR Ops and Coordinator.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Partner with the recruiting team and hiring managers to understand both the role requirements and the right kind of talent that’s a great fit for Proton.

  • Develop strategies to find and engage diverse talent

  • Source passive candidates on LinkedIn and other channels, with a specific focus on diverse applicants

  • Establish and manage partnerships with institutions that could refer us strong candidates (e.g. schools, training programs, special interest groups, etc.)

  • Partner closely with employees and Proton’s extended network to solicit referrals

  • Place Proton in front of as many desirable audiences as possible, from building awareness of Proton as a great place to work (e.g. getting Proton on various “Best Startups” lists) to discovering sponsorship opportunities where Proton and great talent can meet

  • Maintain active candidate pipelines for priority and hard-to-fill positions

  • Gather, analyze and communicate pipeline data

You’ll do great in this role if you have:

  • Experience working for a startup or high-growth company as either a Talent Sourcer, or in Sales, Business Development and Marketing

  • A strategic mindset - you know how to build strategies around talent attraction, passive sourcing, and partnerships development

  • A data driven mindset (collate, analyze and communicate data to stakeholders) 

  • An ability to adapt to changing priorities and refocus according to the needs of our hiring goals and outcomes

Compensation Details

This is a full-time remote position (within North America or able to work USA hours) with a competitive salary of $75k, equity, health benefits, 401k, and generous vacation policy.
