We need a junior compliance officer

Our risk and compliance team works across the whole business to give our customers a fair, safe and compliant service. We’re looking for a compliance administrator to work with our customer teams. Beyond that, you’ll help us make sure we operate in line with regulation, Habito’s own high standards and policies, and the CAS & T&C framework.

If you have a mortgage qualification (like a CeMAP), or some experience with mortgages, that might be useful, but it’s not essential at all. If you like the sound of working in a fast-paced environment and learning a lot, this is the job for you.

More about what you’ll do

• Analyse customer applications and carry out file reviews to check the suitability and quality of our advice.

• Talk to our customer teams about their cases and conversations. Give them feedback on specific cases – both good stuff and areas for improvement. Spot any trends in either individuals or teams that need our support.

• Help deliver compliance training. Offer coaching to our customer teams on how they can give higher quality advice.

• Handle day-to-day stuff – log incidents, deal with fraud or money laundering referrals from our customer team, monitor our financial promotions.

• Help us develop a Compliance, Operational Control and Conduct Risk program for Habito – identifying all the potential risks in the business and putting together a framework of controls to mitigate those risks.
