We are excited to announce a new leadership position for an emerging area of our business. The Manager, Data & Digital Advancement will be based in either Denver, Colorado or Calgary, Alberta, and report to the VP, US Development & Geoscience. This role will have accountability for software development, data architecture, digital business advisory, business intelligence, data analytics, and geomatics. The successful leader will partner with business and information technology leaders to execute on Enerplus’ digital advancement strategy. The central focus areas for Enerplus' digital advancement strategy include:

  • Building rapid data solutions for advanced analytics

  • Sponsorship of technology ideas that accelerate digital innovation (includes allocating funds and resources to advance new initiatives and overall innovation governance)

  • Building transparency and communicating digitization efforts throughout the company

  • Growing digital capabilities across Enerplus

The successful incumbent will work with senior leadership to continue to develop and deliver on the digital advancement strategy, including:

  • Grow, lead, guide and mentor a talented team of professionals consisting of digital business liaisons, application developers and data scientists

  • Drive execution of our digital advancement roadmap

  • Build and sustain close partnerships with all business teams as well as the Digital Enablement team – Digital Operations, Modern Infrastructure and Security

  • Implement and oversee the innovation process, including ideation, assessment, funding, rapid prototyping and scaling

  • Ensure the portfolio of work carried out by the team is executed efficiently and is strategically aligned to the overall vision

  • Be a strong advocate for the digital culture in support of the Digital Advancement strategy – data-driven decision making, innovation, flexibility, digital-first mindset and digital skills

  • Leverage and grow a network of internal and external peers, strategic partners and service providers

Previous experience in the following is preferred:

  • Leadership

  • Software Development

  • Project Management

  • Data Analytics
