DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Director of Standards of Excellence, the Data Manager provides project management and user support for the statewide case management system in furtherance of the organization’s vision to Eradicate Child Sexual Abuse in Texas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Statewide Case Management System:

  • Executes tasks and operating plans that align with strategic goals for the statewide case management system.

  • Provide support for statewide case management system

  • Administration- serves as system administrator making needed changes and providing oversight of user interface.

  • Development- participates in development scoping, project management, testing and implementation of new functionality within system.

  • User Support- serves as first point of contact for users for system technical support and assistance.

  • Training- creates, maintains, and delivers written, recorded and live training for users.

  • Reports- serves as primary point of contact for quarterly statistical report (QSR), VOCA, and other organizational report aggregation.

  • Quality assurance- performs quality assurance monitoring and activities related to the case management system.

  • Coordinates data collection and reporting priorities with other areas of the organization including strategy development and evaluation, grants administration, and advancement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred with more than 3 years of experience using/supporting a case management system. Years of relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.

  • Skill in communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Skill in working and connecting with a diverse group of colleagues and partners.

  • Microsoft Office skills- advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access preferred.

  • Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently under tight deadlines, prioritize responsibilities, and identify and resolve conflicts in a timely and appropriate manner.

  • Candidates must reside in Texas and have reliable transportation with the ability to travel to Austin, TX as needed as well as to local centers across the state. We have invested in technology, facilities, and infrastructure to allow staff to have the flexibility to work remotely but also have a collaborative physical office space that fosters connectivity.

  • Must have reliable and effective internet connectivity to fulfill job duties remotely.
