About the Role

W&P is looking for a social media intern to support and engage our community across a variety of social media platforms. We are looking for a driven and organized individual who is tapped into the digital culture and understands consumer behavior in online communities.


This internship will be part time, between 15-20 hours a week, and can be fully remote (US-based). The role will report to our Marketing Associate.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with our community: respond to comments, direct messages, questions, direct any customer experience inquiries to the appropriate channel

  • Monitor our growth (clean up our social following list - add/delete as needed)

  • Research and source content for use across platforms: other brands, influencers

  • Share inspiring content to inform our creative briefs and pipeline

  • Complete a seasonal influencer campaign project (2/15 - 5/15)

    • Guided learning of Grin, our influencer platform

    • Help create influencer campaign to support our Earth Month initiative

    • Help manage campaign, including initial set up, seeding influencers, communications, and final content collection

    • Deliverables:

      • A bank of influencer content that showcases our Earth Month campaign to be used across all digital marketing channels

      • Recommendations on best-in-class assets to test in paid advertising

      • A "look back" presentation to recap the successes of the campaign and opportunities for future campaigns


About You

  • Fluent in social media channel management (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok are primary channels)

  • Great verbal and written communication skills 

  • Passionate about the food & beverage space (+ sustainability!)
