Exempt Status: Salaried, Exempt

Type: Full-time, On-going

Compensation: $85,000-$97,000

Base of Operations: Austin, TX with remote work opportunities

Travel Expectations: Candidates must reside in Texas with ability to travel to Austin Office as needed, at minimum once per quarter if located outside of the Central Texas area.

DESCRIPTION:

The Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Principal will lead the effort for CACTX to articulate and develop a strategic framework that informs high impact activities and interventions aimed at supporting and improving the functioning and resiliency of multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) in furtherance of CACTX’s vision to Eradicate Child Sexual Abuse in Texas. The MDT Principal will provide leadership and subject matter expertise in the development, management, and optimization of multidisciplinary teams to inform policy, programming, and relationships.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Framework Development and Planning

  • Act as project lead to collaboratively articulate and develop a strategic framework that informs high impact activities and interventions to influence the functioning and resiliency of MDTs in the network of children’s advocacy centers.

  • Develop goals aligned with the strategic framework and identify the resources and timelines required to implement high-impact programming and interventions.

  • Consult and collaborate with team members in the development and execution of strategy.

Multidisciplinary Team Expertise

  • Provide organization and network wide subject matter expertise in the development, management, and optimization of multidisciplinary teams within the domains of relationship management, relevant policy, and supportive programming and interventions.

  • Provide resources, support, and expertise to local member centers regarding issues that impact MDTs.

  • Align strategy related to child sex trafficking with the MDT framework and principles.

Collaboration:

  • Cultivate, maintain, and steward relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners that intersect with issues related to multidisciplinary teams.

  • Contribute to cross-functional collaboration, strategy alignment, and critical projects of CACTX.

  • Provide supervision for one staff member.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred with 10+ years of experience at the local or statewide level. Years of relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.

  • Experience with the multidisciplinary team and children’s advocacy center model.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to distill complex information concisely.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Skill in working and connecting with a diverse group of colleagues and partners.

  • Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently under tight deadlines, prioritize responsibilities, and identify and resolve conflicts in a timely and appropriate manner.

  • Candidates must reside in Texas and have reliable transportation with the ability to travel to Austin, TX as needed. We have invested in technology, facilities, and infrastructure to allow staff to have the flexibility to work remotely but also have a collaborative physical office space that fosters connectivity.

  • Must have reliable and effective internet connectivity to fulfill job duties remotely.

  • Background or subject matter expertise in child welfare issues and systems.

  • Desire to work within a fast-paced, change-oriented, optimistic, “fail-forward” culture and professional environment.
