Delaware Valley Friends School is a national leader educating bright students in grades 1-12 with reading, writing, and other related learning differences. About you and the role:

The Associate Director of Development for Annual Giving will join a collaborative and growth-minded development team and report to the Director of Development. You’ll be in charge of designing and executing a series of strategically planned activities with the goal of building and nurturing a broad base of donor support. You’ll also build relationships with and keep track of 20-40 major donors, and will work to present them with opportunities that they may be interested to support. 

Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:

• Lead the annual giving program, providing donors with multiple opportunities to give every year and to support the mission of the school. This will include:

  • Managing the Annual Fund via a multi-faceted campaign involving individual donor solicitation, print, email, social media, and peer-to-peer outreach 

  • Planning and executing our Lighting the Way spring fundraising event 

  • Promoting EITC tax credits (along with the Director of Development)   

• Develop compelling fundraising approaches, messages, and annual giving opportunities that will resonate with the school’s various constituent groups.

• Help develop major gift opportunities on an annual basis

• Work closely with the Director of Development to identify donors who have higher capacity, and develop strategies to move them to higher levels of philanthropy

• Track and plan interactions with prospects
