Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the multi-award-winning marketing team within HarperFiction. We are looking for a creative, confident marketer with experience working in a busy marketing team.
As Marketing Executive you will be responsible for planning and implementing campaigns, as well as supporting members of the fiction marketing team on delivering integrated and innovative campaigns for some of our biggest brands.

Role requirements
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working in a busy marketing department at a trade publisher
Can demonstrate the ability to plan, develop and implement creative, high impact, fully integrated campaigns
Is an excellent communicator able to work closely with other departments to ensure that plans are communicated to all the relevant stakeholders both internally and externally
Proactively identifies and exploits opportunities for cross promotion and partnerships with third parties
Can create and brief design across a wide range of media, ideally including digital and print environments
Is experienced in social media content creation and scheduling, author page and genre page account management
Enjoys reading widely with an active interest in the publishing industry and commercial fiction
Is a team-player, looking to share their learnings with the wider marketing team in order to foster a culture of learning
Enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment, able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise with confidence
Has an active interest in the latest marketing trends and campaigns from across the book industry as well as the wider entertainment and media sector
Skills and Competencies
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
Social media native with experience of content creation for a variety of platforms
Experience of creating and optimising social media advertising campaigns
Excellent communication skills
Creative
Commercially astute
Ability to use Photoshop or similar software to create social media assets
