Job Description

Head of Partnerships

About Swoop Aero

Swoop Aero was founded to transform how the world moves essential supplies by making access to the skies seamless. We were the first company globally to deliver a vaccine using a drone under a commercial contract. Since then, we've expanded globally, transforming the health supply chain with drone logistics operations in 4 countries.

The work we’re doing is shifting the future of healthcare. We are having an immediate impact on the lives of people, who live within the communities our operations are conducted in. Lots of companies say they have an impact but we really have one. We’ve got big plans to shift the paradigm in both developing and developed markets alike. We integrate air transport using drones into the first and last mile of the health supply chain, to make healthcare available everywhere; our goal is to reach 100 million people by 2025.

To deliver on our goal we’ve built the world's leading platform for seamless drone logistics, and to extend our reach we partner selectively with organisations across the globe who want to leverage our platform at scale to deliver genuine impact.

To do this, we’ve brought together a team of eternally optimistic and resourceful doers to tackle these seemingly insurmountable problems - and make it happen.

The situation and the role:

We’re working to continue building our global team and expanding operations across multiple markets. To help us achieve our vision, we’re looking for a Head of Partnerships to spearhead our advocacy strategy and manage partnerships across both the public and private sectors.

Work closely with the Commercial Sales Director you will need to enact the strategic planning needed to generate and build genuine partnerships, focus on building networks and driving our brand of unique solutions sales. You will become a subject matter expert as you deliver solutions with our key strategic partners including Government, Private and Public organisations, NGOs, and Donor agencies. You will be a master communicator with strong commercial acumen and project management capability to help drive and scale our existing operations. Our goal is to grow our global impact reaching 100 million people by 2025.

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

Strategy

This will include identifying key stakeholder and focus organisations, outreach campaign planning, and developing collateral with support from marketing team members.

You’ll easily develop a deep understanding of potential partner needs, quickly recognise ideal partnership opportunities and define future operational requirements. You will be responsible for guiding all partners through MOU & contract negations to ensure success.

Stakeholder engagement and Project Management

You’ll confidently liaise with a variety of stakeholders, understand individual and group needs, identifying champions, and ensure all relevant players are kept up to date in every step of the process. This includes identifying, administrating, and developing joint grant and funding applications, both Swoop Aero and partner led.

Advocacy

You will lead all advocacy with Government, agencies, and unilaterals. This will include outreach and engagement calls with key stakeholders including Australian and international Government officials, create collateral to support these essential stakeholders and foster these relationships into becoming Swoop Aero advocates and champions.

Account management

You’ll coordinate both internal and external parties and manage all project requirements leading up a network deployment to ensure its success.

About you:

We envision you will thrive in complex stakeholder environments, be driven to enable business growth and able to present solutions to a range of senior stakeholders. You will bring a demonstrated capability winning and building sales from previous experience in either a high growth start up or a tier 1 consultancy.
