Swoop Aero was founded to transform how the world moves essential supplies by making access to the skies seamless. We were the first company to deliver a vaccine using a drone under a commercial contract. Since then, we've expanded globally, transforming the health supply chain with drone logistics operations in five countries.

Our Technology:

Our Technology platform is responsible for the safe, reliable and sustainable delivery of essential supplies across the global. To support our operations we have developed a custom platform that including components such as a Remote Pilot Station, Operations Record's, Fleet Management, Route Planning & Logistics Management.

Our technology utilised frontend application build it Typescript/React using Material-UI as the main user interface library. These applications integrate with Rest & Websocket APIs that are built on serverless backends. All the frontends use full CI/CD via Gitlab and we’re working towards a more test driven development approach.

About you: 

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our passionate team of Software Engineers who are dedicated to building technology that creates genuine, positive, global impact. In this position you will work on our internal and customer facing web solutions to ensure our proprietary software scales to meet our business needs.

As key members of the Technology team you will have the freedom to proactively seek out ways to use technology to increase the effectiveness, performance, usability of our product to support both our customers and internal staff operations. Working closely with our Chief Architect you will ensure software engineering best practices are maintained and create high quality, front end features on a 2-week sprint cycle. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our system documents and collaborating with others to ensure cohesive designing interfaces.

Desired Experience:

• Currently completing or recent completion of relevant bachelors degree

• Experience with Typescript/React

• Experience with Rest & Websocket APIs
