The PSC is seeking a Chief of Staff for their Healthcare Strategy business unit.

About you and the role

We have three main business units and are looking for someone to support our Healthcare Strategy unit through rapid growth, leveraging the foundations we already have for handling tenders, resourcing, skills, client relationships, and further developing these systems to set the standard for other business units in the future. Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:

  • Pipeline management: identifying ITTs, opportunities, and tracking progress and resource required

  • Proposal writing and coordination: coordinating team to complete proposals, structuring response and leveraging company IP, seeking senior input and direction as required

  • Knowledge management: ensuring Healthcare Strategy has organised and collated high-quality collateral, case studies, and client feedback

  • Oversight of consultant skills curriculum and talent pipeline: coordinating specific skills and experience required for healthcare strategy within the consultant body, working with other business units to identify and leverage commonalities (eg. need for analytical/other skills), working with the non-consulting team to align with and influence company ways of working (eg. skills curriculum, recruiting, resourcing), coordinating relationship with external associates and partners

  • Facilitate/ chair business unit meetings: prepare materials and agenda, share and follow up on actions

  • Manage our standard routes to market: framework position, rate, management

  • Oversee customer relationship management: supporting team to ensure coordinated response to building relationships and pipeline

Your skills

You'll be the right person for this job if you have the following skills:

  • Clear, high quality communication: verbal, written, presentation

  • Highly organised with strong project management: able to develop work programme and track progress and dependencies

  • Bid writing: tailoring existing materials, ability to create and curate boilerplate responses, proofing

  • Proactive and self-starter

  • Analytical and attention to detail

  • Strong digital skills: Powerpoint, Word, Excel
