Swoop Aero was founded to transform how the world moves essential supplies by making access to the skies seamless. We were the first company to deliver a vaccine using a drone under a commercial contract. Since then, we've expanded globally, transforming the health supply chain with drone logistics operations in five countries.

So, what next? With our strong board and insightful leadership, we are well resourced to build our team and expand our operations into multiple markets. Last year we tripled our team size, and this year we are doing it again! Now more than ever our work has become all the more meaningful and relevant. With the world’s current focus on health, we have the opportunity to grow a business that leads. In addition, we have the technology that can drive new solutions into new and emerging markets.

About you: 

In this position you will work closely with our Chief Architect and have the freedom to implement solutions that will become apart of our technology. You will join a team of passionate Software Engineers located both in Australia and overseas who are dedicated to building technology that creates genuine, positive, global impact. In this position, you will work on our internal and customer-facing mobile applications to ensure our proprietary software scales to meet our business needs.

As key members of the Technology team you will have the freedom to proactively seek out ways to use technology to increase the effectiveness, performance, usability of our product to support both our customers and internal staff operations. Working closely with our Chief Architect you will ensure software engineering best practices are maintained and create high quality, front end features on a 2-week sprint cycle. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our system documents and collaborating with others to ensure cohesive designing interfaces.

Desired Experience:

• Currently completing or recent completion of relevant bachelors degree

• Experience using React Native
