Media Operations Executive (Seasonal 4-Mth FTC May-August 2021)

WHO WE ARE

The England and Wales Cricket Board is the national governing body for all cricket in England and Wales, supporting the game at every level – from grassroots to professional.

We know that Cricket is a force for good and makes an enduring impact on people’s lives. It provides great entertainment.  It teaches important skills, both physical and social.  It can help inclusion and social cohesion. It’s something for everyone to watch, play or enjoy, across genders, age, disability and diverse communities.

Cricket is facing its most significant challenge of our times as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The financial impact on the whole game has already resulted in a £100m loss, and the eventual financial impact could exceed £200m. The long-term impact of the pandemic will be significant, and we must act now if we are to ensure the financial sustainability of cricket in England and Wales. This means protecting the game’s revenue and reducing its cost base by becoming a leaner, more efficient organisation that is properly equipped to safeguard cricket’s long-term future.
