About the Role:

Are you looking for an opportunity to kick start your career in Recruiting? Do you want to further develop your customer service and admin skills?

We are looking for a Junior Recruiter/Recruiting Administrator to partner closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and our hiring managers as we scale the organization. This position is remote, but you won’t be lonely. We have a friendly, geographically dispersed team that you’ll be interacting with via calls and chats.

Hiring great people is essential for the success of any organization. And the first 200 hires are critical. You are key to keeping our job matchmaking engine running smoothly. When people find their fit in an organization, it’s a happy day for them and for us. So, it goes without saying, you will have a huge impact on our recruiting outcomes. 

Here’s what a week might look like in this role:

  • Conduct recruiting activities for a handful of roles in various functional areas

  • Schedule virtual interviews with candidates and the hiring team

  • Follow up with team members to ensure candidate applications are reviewed in a timely manner

  • Collect feedback from interviewers through our online recruiting system

  • Coordinate with our external sourcer and stay up to date with our sourcing efforts

  • Maintain and update: job postings on our careers page, and external job boards, (such as AngelList, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn, etc.) and hiring documents on our Wiki.

  • Ensure recruitment and related services (e.g. Applicant Tracking System) are running smoothly

  • Work with our third-party recruitment and related service providers to resolve any minor troubleshooting issues.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Experience either as a recruiting coordinator or in an admin/operations type role. (We encourage those without recruiting experience and new graduates to apply!)

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally across teams, and stakeholders

  • Attentive to detail with the ability to prioritize assignments

  • Motivated to provide a topnotch experience for our candidates

  • Able to quickly react to last minute changes and manage ambiguity

  • Strong written, verbal, and communication skills

  • Experience using calendaring tools such as Hubspot or similar

  • Adept with (or with a keen interest in learning to use) tools such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
