Job Description

The Fundraising Officer sits within the Development team in the External Relations Directorate, which is responsible for the message and reputation of Frontline, and inspiring support for the charity. The Development team leads on fundraising and events and the Communications Team lead on press, public affairs, online content, and branding. This is one of two new Fundraising Officer roles within the Development team, who will work closely with the Partnerships Manager and the Fundraising and Events Coordinator. This role will be responsible for engaging new trusts and managing our existing portfolio of trust funders to inspire them to support Frontline’s work

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for researching, engaging and applying to new trust funders, including national trusts and regional-focused trusts (as part of a regional fundraising project). They will also be responsible for managing existing trust fundraising accounts and designing stewardship plans to engage stakeholders, including visits to local authority partners, writing reports and sharing updates. The role will work closely with the rest of the Development team to support on other sources of income including the planning and writing of applications, funder account management and organising fundraising engagement events.
