Job Description

To deliver a high quality HRBP service to Comic Relief, actively contributing to the development and effective implementation of the HR Strategy and wider organisational

objectives. To adopt a customer centric approach with primary client group (line managers) providing day to day client relationship management, linking with other HR colleagues to ensure the people needs of the organisation are met.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior HR Business Partner to advise and lead across all areas of HR from policy and process to employee relations, talent acquisition, coaching and development

  • Lead on parental leave, absence management cases and flexible working requests

  • Prepare monthly reports for meetings, covering statistics including diversity and the gender pay gap

  • Work with the Senior HR Business Partner to manage the performance review process, coaching on clear objectives and development plans

  • Ensure the HR policy, procedures and practices of the business comply fully with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure operational hr practice and processes are effective, fit for purpose and in line with employment law

Essential Education and Competencies:

  • CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification

  • Skilled and adaptable communicator able to flex style between coach, advisor, manager and challenger

  • Collaborative worker able to work closely with leadership teams

  • Effective relationship builder

  • Solid understanding of UK employment law
