Comic Relief

About us

Having a job at Comic Relief isn't quite the same as just 'having a job'. The work we do really does make a difference. It really does change lives.

Comic Relief is a major charity based in the UK, with a vision of a just world, free from poverty. We have invested over £1 billion since 1985, supporting vulnerable people and communities in the UK and overseas. Through humour and stories of hope, we’ve shown that people can make a massive difference.

We are determined optimists who believe the world can be better. That means we’re proud of what we’ve done so far but always committed to social change.

We recognise diversity and inclusion are a source of strength in achieving our mission. We therefore welcome everyone, trusting what makes us different brings creativity, styles and experiences to help us collectively do our best work. That’s regardless of your gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, and cultural identity. We especially welcome those from under-represented groups in modern grant-making and fundraising. We are on a journey, but if you join our team you will be part of a community that is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where we want you to:

  • Be valued for being yourself

  • Do your best work, and be supported to break down barriers so you can succeed

  • Be heard, respected, and treated as an equal, whatever your level, experience or background

  • Be part of a team that is committed to making this happen – with our colleagues, partners, and contributors.

Average rating

over the last 12 months

9 / 10
Asking on the job related questions not only shows you the candidate's experience, but also how they think. The fact that CVs aren't looked at and that they are anonymised makes it feel much more fair.

The questions asked seemed very relevant and were fun to answer.
