Summary of Role 

Anthesis is the Sustainability Activator, the largest group of dedicated sustainability professionals globally, with more than 650 colleagues all focused on making sustainability happen. From large multi-nationals to start-ups, Anthesis is supporting clients across the full breadth of sustainability issues and challenges. Anthesis is looking for an entry level and motivated individual to support our North America (NA) marketing initiatives. This role will benefit from being part of a nine-person, global Marketing team, led by Global Head of Marketing and Communications. Supporting the NA Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be at the heart of coordinating marketing campaigns and responding to the needs of the NA business. The job is full of variety and suited to someone with a passion for sustainability and strong organizational skills. 

As an entry level role, this opportunity is designed for someone early in their career who is looking for a first step in their marketing profession. 

Training and support will be provided, with the ability to explore areas of interest within the marketing field, and learn from members of the marketing team who specialize in different marketing functions.   

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work with NA Marketing Manager to plan and coordinate marketing campaigns 

  • Support with creating and editing written materials such as blogs, webpages, and service guides 

  • Assist in creating digital assets, including graphics, podcasts, videos etc. 

  • Provide formatting and editing support for presentations and documents in line with brand guidelines 

  • Work closely with the SEO and Website Manager and Digital Marketing Consultant to compose, schedule and publish website and social media content  

  • Support with the tracking and development of case studies 

  • Write and send email marketing campaigns and assist with reporting 

  • Contribute to planning events and webinars, including scheduling, research and analyzing data 

  • Monitor and track the performance of NA marketing campaigns 

  • Undertake administrative tasks to support the coordination and success of marketing campaigns 

  • Support NA internal communications as needed 

 

 

Requirements 

Essential 

  • High school degree or equivalent required 

  • 0 – 1 year work experience in related field, such as administration, marketing, etc.  

  • Must be detail oriented  

  • Demonstrate commitment to quality  

  • A keen interest in marketing and developing new skills 

  • Clear and concise written communication skills and the ability to synthesize information 

  • Must have excellent time management and organization skills 

  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas 

  • A willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively with others in a dynamic work environment 

  • Ability to think and work independently, while also being an enthusiastic and proactive team player 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools (PowerPoint in particular) 

 

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or similarly relevant subject  

  • Demonstrable passion for, and commitment to, improving sustainability 

  • Advanced design skills using Adobe tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) 

  • Familiarity with CRM software 

  • Experience in a creative field, e.g., video, photography, design, social media
