About Applied

Our platform helps teams run their hiring with fewer mistakes. That means less bias, more accuracy, and less time wasted interviewing the wrong people.

Curious how we do it?

Why we share this data

Posting your job ad in the right place can make a positive step to enhance your candidate pool.

As things stand there isn't much information on where to source diverse or specialist candidates, so we've decided to publish what we have in the hope that people find it useful.

Why diversity is important

You probably know all this already but a recap never hurts.

  • Low diversity indicates hiring bias and over-reliance on specific hiring pools.
  • Low diversity is a warning flag for under-represented groups, making it harder for you to hire
  • There's some evidence that diverse teams perform better (but it's still early days as that's so hard to measure)

Data & privacy

Applied collects this demographic data to help teams improve their hiring processes and reduce bias. That data is never shared except as large-scale statistics.

Our customers sometimes complain about this and want the data, but we're all like 'no way'.

Note: This data isn't definitive

We can only see the portion of traffic through each job board that comes to us, so please treat this data as being indicative at best.
