Job Description

Brighton & Hove Green Party is a vibrant, determined local party with a track record of making history and leading the way for Greens across the country. From electing the UK’s first Green MP to running the city council, Brighton & Hove Green Party is a powerhouse of innovation, ambition, and political impact.

This new role is central to building on that momentum and shaping the next chapter of Green success. You will play a vital part in identifying strategic target and development wards and constituencies, recruiting and training the next generation of Green candidates and campaigners, and delivering winning election campaigns - all while helping to set the gold standard for Green campaigning nationally.

This is a unique opportunity to help drive a city-wide political movement that is already showing what’s possible. From delivering compelling literature and empowering volunteers, to maintaining strong collaboration with Siân Berry MP and her team, your work will have a direct impact on our ability to win elections and lead with purpose.

You will be a natural relationship builder and passionate about investing in other people to help them achieve our shared electoral goals. Your organising skills will enable you to work collaboratively alongside existing local volunteer teams and ward coordinators, ensuring that every ward has the structures, skills, and support needed to sustain effective, resilient campaign teams.

If this role sounds like an exciting opportunity, we encourage you to apply. If you have any questions ahead of time, please email Alice Spendley alice.spendley@greenparty.org.uk or Joe Skeaping joe.skeaping@greenparty.org.uk. We will be happy for telephone conversations ahead of submission of your application if this would be useful to you.

Application process:

Applications to be submitted by 10am 23 June 2025. Interviews will be held week commencing 30 June 2025.

Please apply via the Applied recruitment platform.

Please note that the Applied recruitment system is configured to ask a series of questions that will support shortlisting for this role. Each question is based on one or more of the attributes listed in the person specification and your answers will be scored based on how you demonstrate the attribute(s) that are relevant to the specific question being asked. The job description and person specification can be found at https://www.greenparty.org.uk/jobs/

We understand that brilliant organisers come from a diverse range of backgrounds. The Green Party is committed to diversity and inclusion and understands the barriers that people from marginalised communities can face in politics.
