Graduate Research Executive (Quantitative) - Branding and Communications
Ipsos
- Closing: 11:59pm, 19th Sep 2022 BST
Job Description
Are you looking to start and develop your career in one of the world’s largest Research Organisations?
WHAT WE DO:
The Brand and Communications team at Ipsos MORI are focused on helping clients understand how and where to focus to enhance the equity of their brands and drive growth for the business.
From strategy definition, content development and ad testing to campaign evaluation, optimisation and brand equity measurement, our research provides clients (both in the UK and globally) the information they need to make their brand positioning and activation more efficient and effective at engaging key target audiences. We are currently looking for graduates from any degree discipline to join us and embrace a career in research.
YOUR ROLE:
As a Graduate Research Executive, you’ll be encouraged to take responsibility from the outset - thrown straight into working on live projects for some of the most well-known dynamic brands. You will be able to answer key questions, like: ‘How effective is the brand strategy in driving acquisition of new customers?’, ‘Are the brand communications resonating with the target audience and having the desired impact on the brand?’, ‘How is the media mix contributing to effective marketing?’. In this role, through support from your manager and the project team, you will:
Gain exposure to a variety of client industries and research approaches, whilst working alongside industry experts.
Work closely with data (so attention to detail when checking and charting data will be very important)
See the end to end project life cycle: from taking client briefs, working through timelines and costings, questionnaire development, liaising with our fieldwork specialists, through to analysis and delivery of the report to clients
Have the chance to contribute to a range of projects from large Global tracking programmes (working as part of a large team) to smaller quick turnaround ad hoc studies (where you might work directly with the project lead)
Focus on what the data means, sharing your findings with the client and the project director and impacting the client’s business with a powerful and insights-led story.
Help us think about how we can deliver our conclusions in an engaging and creative way.
OUR OFFER:
Our Generation Ipsos programme provides a comprehensive foundation in research and how it’s practically applied in a commercial environment. You’ll be trained in client management, project management and the nitty-gritty of research including methodologies, sampling, weighting and ethics. You’ll learn through real life, hands-on experience, webinars, seminars and specialist workshops. We’ll provide you with dedicated training designed to achieve the industry recognised Market Research Society (MRS) Advanced Certificate accreditation. Networking is a key skill, so we have Early Careers events with other Graduates, Placement Students and Interns across the company.
Having a flexible working culture where we support our colleagues and celebrate our successes is important to us. We invest our time in you and you’ll benefit from working alongside our expert teams. Your manager will help you set goals to achieve your personal objectives throughout the year and help you exceed these.
