B Lab Europe

B Lab Europe was established in 2013 and since the B Corp movement was established in Europe, it has gained remarkable traction with over 1,100 certified B Corps in the European Union and over 20,000 European users of the B Impact Assessment. The European movement is underpinned by a network of different entities – certified B Corps, country partner representatives and the team of B Lab Europe, which coordinates the strategy, processes and many of the activities of its European country partners

Overview

B Lab Europe is looking for a Trainee - Large Company Certification to join our team. This Trainee role supports the growing interest of large companies in B Corp Certification. The MNC Trainee will play an important role in scaling the B Corp movement in Europe by supporting the Multinational and Large Enterprise Certification Team. This role should be performed by someone who is eager to be part of and support the movement. The position is initially available for a duration of 6 months, with the potential of longer term involvement after the initial term (to be evaluated by both parties).

Core Responsibilities 

  • Large company certification process support (40%)

    • Attending company calls

    • Making note of follow ups and supporting in delivery of follow ups.

    • Keeping trello/tracking excels etc. up to date with latest information for companies.

    • Planning recertification pathway for relevant companies.

    • Support with salesforce management

  • Support to Country Partner Large Entreprise Leads. (30%) 

    • Answering questions and escalation of issues when appropriate.

    • Keeping the knowledge sharing platform updated.

    • Sharing certification updates to the network.

    • Support on MNC Circle meetings delivery

  • Support general process improvements for large and multinational companies (30%)

    • Support on customer journey improvements 

    • Support on introduction of the new standards 

Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

  • Good communication skills

  • Process-savvy

  • Good organizational and administrative skills

  • Comfortable with Salesforce, Trello, Slack, Google Suite or comparable platforms

  • Creative

  • Proactive problem solver

  • Experience with stakeholder engagement is a plus!

  • Basic knowledge in business and sustainability

  • A strong communicator, who is able to communicate effectively in English.

  • Someone who will takes initiative in their role to learn and make process improvements

Working Arrangements

Hybrid - both working from the office in Amsterdam and working from home is allowed
