Operations & Office Assistant (Part Time)
4 Month Fixed Term Contract / ~20 Hours Per week over 5 Days*
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 pro rata + excellent benefits, including 27 days holiday (pro rata), 2:1 pension (up to 12% employer contribution), plus many more
Hybrid with travel to London a couple of days per week, subject to business needs

We are Fair4All Finance. We are a not-for-profit organisation working with Financial Services providers to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services.
We are continuing our work following our latest round of funding, and as a result we are now seeking an organised & proactive Operations & Office Assistant join our collaborative and purpose-driven team. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll support the smooth running of our office, help coordinate internal operations, and ensure your colleagues have what they need to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities
Support the colleagues with day-to-day office management tasks
Ensure the workplace is safe, well-equipped, and running smoothly—whether for remote or office-based teams
Monitor supplies, manage office equipment, handle post and communications, and maintain meeting room bookings
Help organise internal meetings, workshops, events, and social activities
Support the wider team with diary coordination and ad hoc administrative tasks
Assist in the smooth operation of our IT systems including Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint and our CRM
Maintain records and logs including desk booking, access, and issue tracking
Essential experience & qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
Organised, methodical and able to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
Able to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Founded in 2019, we are funded from the Dormant Assets Scheme. The scheme is led by the financial industry and backed by the UK government. This makes it possible for money in dormant bank and building society accounts to be used to help good causes.
