About us

Everoze is an employee-owned consultancy, specialising in renewables, storage and wider energy flexibility. Our unique strength is bridging the gap between the technical and the commercial. We exist to help our clients accelerate the transition to a decarbonised energy system.

We’re a team of 80 consultants who are flexible, experienced and interdisciplinary. We have offices in the UK, France, Spain, Portugal & Australia, and we’re active in energy markets across the world.

We’re excited to be looking for an Intern on a year-long paid placement, to work alongside our experienced team of industry professionals in the Solar PV domain, and potentially across other domains in offshore and onshore wind, storage and wider energy systems.

Location: Bristol, with potential to travel to other UK and European locations with occasional flexibility to work from home

Your role:

You will be working as part of the Everoze team, supporting on a wide range of tasks. These could include:

·        Reviewing, enhancing, and even creating improved models and techniques in renewables;

·        Supporting day-to-day project activities, for example on solar PV or offshore wind projects which are in development;

·        Improving the ways in which we manage our renewables knowledge and data to ensure the team has the best available information at its fingertips;

·        Delving into project analytics – such as verifying the capability of sites to deliver National Grid ESO’s requirements;

·        Assessing technical risks on battery storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, as part of technical Due Diligence for Everoze’s clients, who are a mixture of project developers, funders and operators;

·        Carry out site visits on solar PV or storage plants across the UK.

·        Analytical ability: You enjoy and have an aptitude for Excel and coding;

·        Passion to decarbonise the electricity system: The energy sector is in transition; you want to speed this up;

·        Hunger to develop and learn: You want to use the knowledge from your degree to date and to develop a broader set of skills during your internship;

·        Free thinking: You love the intellectual thrill of working to your own solution but also the team-bonding that comes from interactive problem-solving.
