Coop Student – Talent Management 

8 Month Term Starting January 2024

Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, our talent management co-op position will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, receive one-on-one mentorship and apply your academic experience in a meaningful way while growing and developing your skills and contributing to our People and Culture Talent Management Team and kick-starting a successful career in human resources. 

 

Opportunity details are as follows: 

Term length: 8 months 

Term start:  January 2024 

Job location:  Calgary, Alberta 

Shift schedule:  5 days/week (Monday – Friday), 8 hours/day 

Hybrid Option: Yes 

Safety sensitive position:  No 

 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Help strengthen our post-secondary campus brand by working with our internal teams and campus recruitment offices to effectively research, register and coordinate career fairs and campus student events including managing team schedules, organizing marketing and promotional materials, and providing logistical and on-the-ground support. 

  • Create student job postings and support hiring leaders and teams with effective and engaging candidate assessment, selection, and onboarding. 

  • Plan, coordinate, and assist in the delivery of student onboarding and student learning and development offerings. 

  • Participate in the social committee and the planning and coordination of Calgary office events. 

  • Assist with recruitment, talent management, and internal communications day-to-day and project deliverables. 

 

What You Bring to The Role: 

  • Currently enrolled in or within one year of graduation from a degree or diploma program in Human Resources or a related area of study. 

  • Respect for confidentiality and discretion. 

  • Outstanding organizational skills. 

  • Energetic, positive attitude, and optimistic outlook. 

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and proficient proof-reading skills. 

  • Flexible and adaptable.
