About the role

The Commercial and Investments associate will sit within the Commercial & Investments team program reporting to the Head of Commercial & Investments.

Key activities include:

• Assisting in identifying commercial and industry partners and projects to help deliver on Boundless strategies

• Pipeline management and execution of commercial engagements and catalytic investments, through scouting, application, due diligence, funding / investment processes including pipeline management and progress reporting

• Providing a day-to-day liaison point for our stakeholders, and managing the administrative tasks of the team

• Portfolio and partner management of investee companies and funded programs. Ensuring that our commercial partners are supported to deliver the best possible outcomes.

• Preparing project plans and writing investment papers

About You

The successful applicant will be a highly organised and outcomes-oriented person, who is adaptable and self-motivated.

Key attributes of the successful candidate:

• Strong organisational and project management skills with a track record of getting things done. Good at managing large amounts of information across multiple projects in a fast moving team.

• Strong commercial acumen and handle on decarbonisation and net zero pathways of different sectors and their contribution to Australia becoming a renewable superpower

• Clear and concise expression (written and verbal)

• Low-ego with a track record of partnering to achieve results

• Investment & portfolio management experience advantageous (ideally in climate or impact investing).
